The Best of
We encourage everybody to give clear, understandable presentations, in oral and in poster form. In view of this, we organize the contest: 'The Best of'. Each participant of the ESWW6 will have the possibility to nominate on site one oral presentation and one poster as candidate for 'The best of'. The winners will be announced at the end of the conference week and will be awarded a prize.
The 2008 edition was won by Bochnicek H. in the category posters and by Veronig A. in the category oral presentations. Both are young female scientists who presented their work in a clear, understandable way attracting people's attention with the intention to actually explain the content. The visual aspect of the oral presentation was taken care of down to much detail.
