The interplanetary magnetic field is mostly southwards, occasionally reaching below -10nT. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to vary between active and minor geomagnetic storm over the next 24 hours. Flaring activity on the Sun is expected to remain at C-flare level. The most active regions are currently Catania sunspot groups 50, 51 and 52. The latter is the return of group 22 (NOAA 0375), which produced many M-flares and three X-flares on the previous rotation.
