The interplanetery magnetic field (IMF) is switching between +5 and -5 nT, but mostly pointed northward. If this remains so we expect quiet geomagnetic conditions. Next week the earth could undergo influence from a coronal hole situated on the east limb of the solar disk. Solar activity will remain low, although some C-flare activity may be expected from regions 29 (NOAA 0453) and 30 (NOAA 0454).
