SIDC URSIGRAM 31125 SIDC SOLAR BULLETIN 25 Nov 2003, 1330UT SIDC FORECAST (valid from 1230UT, 25 Nov 2003 until 27 Nov 2003) SOLAR FLARES : Eruptive (C-class flares expected, probability >= 50%) GEOMAGNETISM : Quiet (A<20 and K<4) SOLAR PROTONS : Quiet PREDICTIONS FOR 25 Nov 2003 10CM FLUX: 180 / AP: 017 PREDICTIONS FOR 26 Nov 2003 10CM FLUX: 178 / AP: 017 PREDICTIONS FOR 27 Nov 2003 10CM FLUX: 178 / AP: 017 COMMENT: Catania sunspot group 96 (NOAA AR 0507) is the largest group on the disc. With its beta-gamma-delta configuration it is remarkably quiet with no flaring activity at all. The other two main sunspot groups (Cat 90=NOAA 501 and Cat 97=NOAA 508) are producing C-flares. The coronal hole influence is still felt in the solar wind (580km/s) but has little geomagnetic effect (Kp=3). Quiet conditions are expected the coming days for both solar and geomagnetic activity.
