SOLAR FLARES  : Quiet conditions (<50% probability of C-class flares)
GEOMAGNETISM  : Active conditions expected (A>=20 or K=4)
SOLAR PROTONS : Quiet

COMMENT: Flaring activity is low, the Xray background as measured by GOES is
just below the B1 level. The interplanetairy magnetic field is now 10 nT. The
strength has been growing since this morning. The B_z component had reached
values between -7nT and +7nT. Solar wind speed is low: 300 km/s but shows an
increasing tendency. The density on his turn has increased according to ACE and
CELIAS/SOHO. This indicates that we will possibly come under the influence of a
coronal hole windstream.
