Solar activity is very low. Catania sunspot group 57 (NOAA 0554) has further
decayed to a single small sunspot. Neither this, nor the other two sunspot
groups currently visible on the disk is capable of significant flaring activity.
Geomagnetic conditions are quiet as well. The solar wind speed has decreased to
400 km/s and the interplanetary magnetic field is firmly northwards. No
geomagnetic disturbances are expected.
