B_z is mainly positive and smaller than 5 nT. We are still experiencing quiet geomagnetic conditions. Sunspot group 87 (NOAA 0578) has produced late Feb 18 an M1.5 flare. No companying CME was recorded. On Feb 17, a CME left the Sun from the north-west side. This CME is very unlikely to have any impact on earth.
