SOLAR FLARES  : Eruptive (C-class flares expected, probability >= 50%)
GEOMAGNETISM  : Quiet (A<20 and K<4)

PREDICTIONS FOR 10 Jun 2005  10CM FLUX: 100 / AP: 007
COMMENT: Solar activity was concentrated around active region NOAA 0776
(Catania 79) which produced several B and small C-flares. NOAA 0772
(Catania 74) produced one C3 flare yesterday noon. Both remain capable
of producing more B and C flares and there is also a small chance for an
M flare. Geomagnetic conditions are quiet and are expected to remain so
for the following 48 hours. CACTus detected a CME in the NE starting at
10:36 UT on June 7. Halpha images from BBSO and Catania witness a
filament eruption in the NE. Due to its very low speed (211 km/s) and
its strongly eastward direction, no geoeffective consequences are
expected from this event.
