NOAA 0772 (Catania 74) produced one C3 flare yesterday noon. Both remain capable of producing more B and C flares and there is also a small chance for an M flare. Geomagnetic conditions are quiet and are expected to remain so for the following 48 hours. CACTus detected a CME in the NE starting at 10:36 UT on June 7. Halpha images from BBSO and Catania witness a filament eruption in the NE. Due to its very low speed (211 km/s) and its strongly eastward direction, no geoeffective consequences are expected from this event.
