The X-ray background is now low and almost flat at the A3 level. The solar wind speed remains around 380km/s, but it may increase over the next 2 days, due to limited extensions of the polar coronal holes. The geomagnetic field was temporarily active early today Sept.26, in response to minor Southward excursions of the IMF. We expect it to remain mostly unsettled, with possible temporary active to minor storm conditions on day 2 and 3 of the period, due to the coronal hole influence.
