No flare activity is expected from the single small sunpot group now present on the solar disc. The interplanetary magnetic field has taken a slight southward orientation (Bz=-5nT). However, given the weak field and low solar wind speed (now about 400km/s), we only expect a slight enhancement of the geomagnetic activity from the current quiet conditions to possible unsettled conditions for the next 2 days.
