We predict B flares, with a low probability of a C flare from active region #14 (NOAA0727). The geomagnetic field was unsettled to active over the last few hours, with occasional minor storm intervals at high latitudes. This responds to the action of a high speed stream that grew yesterday Jan. 29 in the middle of the day. The Bz component of the IMF is fluctuating strongly, and the solar wind speed increased to 600km/s. We predict the presistance of the unsettled to active conditions mainly for the next 24 hours. Thereafter, the geomagnetic field should become progressively less disturbed.
