It is now classified as a complex beta-gamma magnetic configuration. Therefore, it can produce more C and M flares over the next few days. Those events might become more geoeffective as the region is rotating towards the central meridian of the Sun. The solar wind remains slow and weakly magnetized. The geomagnetic field is thus quiet to unsettled, and it should remain so at least for the rest of the 3-day period.
