The high-speed solar wind stream has decayed further (v= 430km/s, B= 5nT) and consequently, the geomagnetic field has remained quiet. We expect those quiet conditions to continue for about 24 hours. Then, a recurrent fast stream will initiate a new geomagnetic storm (Kp=5 or 6 based on previous recurrences). TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 026, BASED ON 03 STATIONS.
