However, the magnetic polarities are clearly separated, so the flaring probability is not very high. On the other hand, the decaying NOAA ARs 0847 and 0846 (they do not have sunspots and thus no Catania numbers) still produce some activity (at the B-level) at the West limb. The interplanetary conditions are not favorable for the development of geomagnetic activity: the magnetic field is at the average level (5 nT) and the north - south component Bz is oscillating near zero.
