SOLAR FLARES  : Quiet conditions (<50% probability of C-class flares)
GEOMAGNETISM  : Quiet (A<20 and K<4)

COMMENT: Geomagnetic conditions are expected to remain quiet until
early on Saturday at which point the fast stream from a recurrent
coronal hole located just S of disk centre is expected to arrive. On the
last rotation this gave periods of minor storming (Kp=5, less intense
than the occasional major storming during previous rotations) and
similar effects are expected from early on Saturday Oct 28th. Solar
activity is expected to remain very low, and the solar disk will be
spotless once NOAA AR0917 completes its W limb transit later today.
