SOLAR FLARES  : Quiet conditions (<50% probability of C-class flares)
GEOMAGNETISM  : Active conditions expected (A>=20 or K=4)

COMMENT: Geomagnetic conditions are returning to quieter levels
following this morning's storming. NOAA recorded KP=5 and 6 during a
6-hr period but is presently at 4. The solar wind speed is presently
steady at ~600km/s, but the IMF has decreased its intensity and has a
weak Bz compared to the storming this morning. If the Bz component
intensifies then further storming is possible. Solar activity are
expected to remain quiet as all active regions continue to shed their
magnetic complexity. C-class flares possible, probably from NOAA AR 0867
(Catania 21) before its west limb transit
