COMMENT: The background X-ray radiation has increased. The source of
this increase is sunspot group 47 (NOAA AR 0961) and a second group
which is now rotating over the east limb. Geomagnetic conditions are
expected to be active because of a coronal hole which will probably
become geoeffective from late today, tomorrow.
