COMMENT: NOAA AR 0939, Catania sunspot group 16, has produced a C2.3
flare peaking at 13:11 UT yesterday. More C-flares are possible from
this active region. The Earth is currently inside the slow solar wind
flow. The solar wind speed is around 450 km/s, the interplanetary
magnetic field is around 4 nT. Geomagnetic conditions are expected to
remain quiet.
