SOLAR FLARES  : Quiet conditions (<50% probability of C-class flares)
GEOMAGNETISM  : Active conditions expected (A>=20 or K=4)
SOLAR PROTONS : Quiet

COMMENT: Solar conditions are quiet. From H-alpha data we can infer
that a filament disappeared around 20 UT on Oct 15; it was located in
the eastern hemisphere. We have to await coronagraphic data to decide if
there was a CME related to this. We expect the arrival of the fast
stream from the equatorial coronal hole during Oct 17th. During past
rotation this returning coronal hole triggered several intervals of
active conditions.
