Compared with ACE data from previous rotations it appears the hole has further developed as the solar wind speed has now increased to almost 700km/s; though the IMF remains weakly fluctuating around zero, only modest enhancements would be needed to lead to minor storming. Solar activity is expected to remain quiet with NOAA AR 0933 retaining the potential for an isolated C-class event. A large bipolar un-numbered region now fully over the E limb may possibly lead to increased activity over the coming days. TODAY'S ESTIMATED ISN : 027, BASED ON 02 STATIONS.
