COMMENT: NOAA AR 0940 was the source of C class flares during the last
24 hours. There remains a moderate chance of C class flare activity due
to this active region, but the overall activity should be quiet.
Geomagnetic activity was dominated by the entry of the Earth into the
high speed stream due to a southern coronal hole, with minor storm
conditions. It is expected that unsettled to active conditions will
prevail during the next 48 hours.
