GEOMAGNETISM  : Quiet (A<20 and K<4)

COMMENT: Active region NOAA0978(Cat.#64) is declining again and did not
produce any C flare during the last 24 hours. It could still spawn an
occasional isolated C flare. The solar wind has slowed down to 400km/s
and the geomagnetic field is quiet. It should remain so until Dec. 17.
Then, a recurrent fast solar wind stream will raise again the
geomagnetic activity.
