SOLAR FLARES  : Quiet conditions (<50% probability of C-class flares)
GEOMAGNETISM  : Active conditions expected (A>=20 or K=4)
SOLAR PROTONS : Quiet
PREDICTIONS FOR 04 Jan 2008  10CM FLUX: 081 / AP: 003
PREDICTIONS FOR 05 Jan 2008  10CM FLUX: 082 / AP: 021
PREDICTIONS FOR 06 Jan 2008  10CM FLUX: 083 / AP: 013
COMMENT: No flaring activity is expected in the coming days. Active
geomagnetic conditions (up to K=4) are expected over the weekend due to
the influence of a recurrent coronal hole. Catania solar observatory
reports the presence of a high latitude sunspot group. MDI images show a
bipolar structure. This bipole is however the first of the new solar
cycle which actually develops into a visible sunspot group. Solar cycle
24 has arrived!
