COMMENT: No sunspot groups are visible on the solar disc. Solar
activity is thus quiet and is expected to remain so. The solar wind
speed is currently around 450 km/s (SOHO/CELIAS data). A faster solar
wind flow from the edge of a low-latitude coronal hole in the southern
hemisphere arrived yesterday, following a sector boundary crossing
around noon. We currently have no ACE data on the interplanetary
magnetic field, but disturbed geomagnetic conditions are unlikely.
