The greater than 10 MeV proton flux crossed the 10 pfu threshold level at 23:55 UTC
on December 15, peaked at 13.9 pfu at 00:15 UTC, and then dropped below the 10 pfu
threshold at 00:55 UTC on December 16. The greater than 10 MeV proton flux is
expected to remain enhanced on December 15 – 16, with a chance that a particle event
occurs following the arrival of CMEs from December 14 - 15.
