The global geomagnetic conditions have reached moderate storm levels (NOAA Kp 6)
since 18:00 UTC. The geomagnetic conditions locally have reached minor storm levels
(K BEL 5) since 16:00 UTC. The geomagnetic storms are most likely the result of the
ongoing influence of a high-speed stream from the southern, positive polarity coronal
hole (SIDC Coronal Hole 123). Further moderate storm conditions are possible in the
upcoming hours. Further monitoring and analysis of the event is ongoing.
