# FAST WARNING 'PRESTO' MESSAGE  from the SIDC (RWC-Belgium)         #

An X1.3 flare (SIDC Flare 8130) was observed on July 04, peaking at 20:41
UTC. The flare was produced by SIDC Sunspot Group 860 (NOAA Active Region
4479) and associated with a Type II radio burst, with an estimated shock
speed of about 2714 km/s. A Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) associated with the
X1.3 flare became visible in GOES/CCOR-1 from around 22:30 UTC on July 04.
This occurred during SOHO/LASCO and STEREO data gaps. Further coronagraph
imagery and analysis are needed to determine the CME characteristics and
the possible impact.
